A well thought-out software architecture is an important foundation for successful IT projects. Every member of the development team has to contribute to it. In order to meet these requirements, a sound education is necessary. Based on the worldwide established and standardized training of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB), the training courses of the Software Academy© offer courses, that convey this exact knowledge. Combined with the trainer’s high level of project expertise, participants are taught everything they need to create modern software architectures.
The CPSA program consists of the Foundation Level and the Advanced Level.
The Foundation Level creates the necessary basis for making independent architectural decisions, adequately documenting the systems and achieving quality requirements for such, based on existing knowledge and experience.
The Advanced Level trains software architects with advanced knowledge in technical, methodological and communication skills.
We pass on our practical experience from projects and successfully developed software solutions to you. In our training you will only meet experienced trainers who will pass on their know-how to you. Benefit from real practical knowledge and skills. Choose from our current offer.
Our face-to-face training takes place in small groups of max. ten participants and in compliance with hygiene and distance regulations.
From now on you can book our training for the "Certified Professional for Software Architecture - Foundation Level" online.
You meet with your trainer and other participants at a fixed time on a modern and up-to-date learning platform.
The duration is five days (Monday to Friday) four hours in the afternoon.
1. Familiarize yourself with the technology beforehand.
Online training sounds like less effort at first, but require just as much preparation as classroom training. To get started on time, make sure to check your technical equipment and its settings for the required functions.
2. Show up on time in online mode.
It is best to be over-punctual and make all preparations to avoid annoying waiting times.
3. Avoid distractions.
If you work from your home office, it is best to close your door to avoid family members "bursting in". If you are attending the training from the office, at best hang a note on the door to inform others, that you must remain undisturbed.
4. Wear a headset.
Headsets are more suitable than headphones or the speaker of your computer. Ambient noise is filtered better. As a result, you can be understood more easily.
5. Mute yourself.
Mute your microphone when you are just listening. This avoids possible, annoying ambient noise.
6. Speak clearly.
At the beginning of the training, ask whether you are understood by everyone. Speak slowly and clearly.
7. Don’t interrupt each other.
Letting the other person finish speaking sounds obvious, but it is often difficult in virtual events. Technical failures or jolts often cause you to speak out unintentionally. Therefore, let the current speaker finish and if in doubt wait a few seconds or use the virtual hand signal.
The multiple choice exam takes place directly after the training and lasts 75 minutes. The examination for certification is carried out by an iSAQB-accredited examination institute. With the certification you have the possibility to start the Advanced Level of the software architect education according to iSAQB.
The certificate will be sent to you directly by the certification authority if the exam was successful.
Save time and money. We also offer all open training courses in-house. The focus is on your company and your employees, whether in a classroom or online training.
You as the client will receive a training offer individually coordinated with you. We are open for your suggestions and wishes. Please feel free contact us.
The CPSA curricula and exam questions for each level are developed and published in Germany by the iSAQB®. The iSAQB® Certified Professional training is internationally successful and recognized.
The International Software Architecture Qualification Board is an association of software architecture experts from industry, consulting and training companies, science and other organizations.
Software architects must implement complex functional and technical requirements for IT systems and design these systems to be flexible as well as expandable through comprehensible structures. All participants in the CPSA Foundation training course will therefore receive the book "Effective Software Architectures" by Gernot Starke in addition to the training material.
This practical guide shows you how to develop software architectures effectively and systematically.
In our classroom training courses, coffee, tea, cold drinks, pastries and a lunch are provided for our training participants. We will be happy to organize accommodation for our participants near the training location or give event tips for the evenings.
We grant various discounts on our quoted training prices:
Early-Bird discount:
Book 90 days in advance without the possibility of cancellation for a discount of 100 Euro.
Colleague discount:
From two bookings of a company you will receive a discount of 200 Euro per participant (from the second participant).
We will be happy to advise you on discounts and individual combinations of desired courses.
